JR Bizlink Frequently Asked Questions
Q. I'm not an accountant, will I still understand and be able to operate this sophisticated programme?
A. Yes - You are probably currently using MYOB, Quick Books or one of the other standard software packages. Data processing in JR.bizlink is very similar. It is the reporting functions that are greatly enhanced with additional reports designed specifically for owners and managers. Come and look for yourself.
Q. How much will JR.bizlink cost?
A. There is an on-line time cost paid directly to the "ASP" which is similar to an Internet access cost with various packages from as little as $30 per month depending on the time required. There will also be the package cost from as little as $500 per year for a small business with no service entity. Talk to us, you'll be pleasantly surprised, and we will quote on each situation.
Q. How are Johnston Rorke's fees normally determined?
A. It depends on many factors, how many entities you have, what internal book-keeping procedures you are currently using, what compliance work is required, etc, etc. Like most accountants our fees are a factor of time. What we have managed to achieve with JR.bizlink is to remove our repetitive time and pass on the increased value and cost saving to you. We encourage you to tailor our services to your needs and we are happy to quote accordingly.
Q. Can I keep my existing tax accountant and still use Johnston Rorke's expertise?
A. We have many clients who started out using us on this basis, and we are comfortable with this type of business relationship.
Q. Are there any intangible benefits of having access to your expertise?
A. There certainly are. Our industry knowledge allows us to add value to so many of our client's daily dealings and decision-making. We offer a true spectrum of activities of immense value but often impossible to measure. We believe we offer a value and service quality that cannot be matched in the market place.
Q. If information is accessed over the Internet, how fast will it be?
A. While it depends on your hardware and connections, our existing users have not experienced a significant loss of speed. In some cases a relatively minor hardware upgrade may be necessary.
Q. What about the security of my information?
A. The data is protected by appropriate security rights at both the software and server level and a nightly back up is performed by the application service provider.
Q. What about training / conversion of data?
A. Johnston Rorke will provide all the software training you'll need and can convert the data from your existing system promptly (and back if necessary).
Q. Who provides the support?
